Carson
City -This city prides itself on being a spectacular
small city. With a population of approximately 54,000, citizens
have the advantage of knowing people within the city and still having
ample services, shopping and culture. Carson City is the capital
city of Nevada. It maintains its reputation as “History Central,”
with a historic downtown and an extensive museum of Nevada History.
The high schools zoned for Carson City are: Carson High, Opportunity
High/New Horizons, and Pioneer High. The middle schools zoned for
the area are: Carson Middle and Eagle Valley Middle. There are also

- Dayton is making a mark on the map as a new housing community,

Minden,
Gardnerville and Genoa - These towns are all part
of Douglas County, which is one of the fastest growing counties
in Nevada, with over 44,000 residents. Residents have seen a 112%
increase in population between 1980 and 2000 according to the 2000
United States census data posted on Douglas County’s web site.
Because Nevada’s tax structure is favorable to business, many
jobs are being created in this area. The towns of Minden, Gardnerville
and Genoa are set against the base of the beautiful Eastern Sierra
Mountain Range. The beauty of the area and the feeling of community
are some of the reasons many people are moving here to raise a family.
The high schools in Douglas County are: Douglas High and Whittell
High. The middle schools in the County are: Carson Valley Middle,

Lake
Tahoe - Each town surrounding Lake Tahoe is charming
in its own way. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to visit, and a
heavenly place to live. The year round outdoor activities draw residents
to the towns of Lake Tahoe. The lake is divided between California
and Nevada to allow residents from both states to enjoy. Lake Tahoe
Unified School District provides education services for the California
side of the lake and the Douglas County School District provides

- Truckee is only 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe and 30 minutes from
Reno, Nevada. Truckee has been a long established community, rich

- Located in Eastern Nevada, Elko has sustained its self sufficiency

Winnemucca
- Winnemucca, located in Humboldt County, North Central Nevada,
is approximately 167 miles from Reno, Nevada and 366 miles from
Salt Lake City, Utah. With a population just under 8,000, Winnemucca
is a small town with a big heart. The economy of this town is based
mainly on mining, gaming, agriculture and manufacturing. The schools
in Winnemucca are Lowry High School, Winnemucca Junior High, French
Ford Middle School, Sonoma Heights Elementary, Grass Valley Elementary,

Fallon
- Called the Oasis of Nevada, Fallon is home to the Carson River,
Lahottan Reservoir, and the Fallon Naval Air Station. Located on
Highway 50 and Alternate U.S 95, Fallon is the gateway to central
and eastern Nevada. Fallon has a small town feel and great outdoor
activities. The economy of this town is based mainly on agriculture
and manufacturing. The schools in Fallon are Churchill County High
School, and Churchill County Junior High School. There are five

Fernley
- This town is located about 30 minutes east of Reno/Sparks, which
is great for the many Fernley residents that commute daily to Reno
or Sparks. This is a small town, but rapidly growing as demonstrated
by the new houses, parks, and golf courses. Industrial and distribution
companies have moved their businesses to Fernley, which has created
many jobs, thus contributing to the growth in Fernley. map
Las
Vegas - The largest city in Nevada and by far, one
of the fastest growing in the United States, Las Vegas is becoming
home to many individuals from around the Country. Besides being
